ACCOUNTANT

Objective:

The primary objective of the Accountant is to maintain accurate financial records, ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations, and provide financial insights to support informed decision-making within the organization.

Responsibilities:

  1. Financial Record Keeping: Maintain and update financial records, including ledgers, journals, and financial statements. Ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial data.
  2. Financial Reporting: Prepare financial reports, such as balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements, and other financial disclosures. Present financial information to management and relevant stakeholders.\
  3. Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts by analyzing financial data, identifying trends, and collaborating with department heads to develop accurate financial projections.
  4. Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with tax regulations by preparing and filing tax returns, monitoring changes in tax laws, and advising on tax implications of business decisions.
  5. Audit Support: Assist in the preparation for internal and external audits. Provide necessary documentation and explanations to auditors to support the audit process.
  6. Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement. Provide insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
  7. Payroll Processing: Facilitate accurate and timely payroll processing, including the calculation of wages, taxes, and deductions, and the preparation of payroll reports.
  8. Reconciliation:  Perform periodic reconciliations of bank accounts, accounts receivable, and accounts payable to ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial records.
  9. Regulatory Compliance: Stay updated on accounting standards, regulations, and compliance requirements. Implement and maintain internal controls to ensure adherence to relevant standards.
  10. Systems and Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of financial operations.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.

OR

  • Professional certification such as Certified Public Accountant (CPA), and ACCA Level 11
  • Proven experience in accounting or financial management, with a demonstrated understanding of financial principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and financial management systems. Strong Excel skills are essential.
  • Knowledge of tax regulations, accounting standards, and financial reporting requirements.
  • Analytical skills to interpret financial data and generate meaningful insights.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work with a high level of accuracy.

EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT TO THE CEO

Objective:

The primary objective of the Executive Assistant to the CEO is to provide high-level administrative support and strategic assistance to the CEO, enabling efficient and effective leadership, communication, and decision-making within the organization. The executive assistant serves as a trusted confidant and a key liaison between the CEO and internal/external stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  1. Calendar and Schedule Management: Manage the CEO’s calendar, appointments, and commitments, ensuring optimal use of time and prioritization of activities. Coordinate and schedule internal and external meetings, conferences, and travel arrangements.
  2. Communication and Correspondence: Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external communications on behalf of the CEO. Draft, review, and respond to correspondence, emails, and other communications as directed by the CEO
  3. Information Management: Organize and maintain confidential information, files, records, and documents related to the CEO’s office. Ensure that information is easily accessible and readily available to support decision-making and strategic planning.
  4. Meeting Support: Prepare agendas, coordinate meeting logistics, and provide administrative support during executive meetings, including taking minutes, following up on action items, and tracking progress on key initiatives.
  5. Project Coordination: Provide support in coordinating special projects, initiatives, and strategic business activities on behalf of the CEO. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to facilitate project execution and ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
  6. Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with key stakeholders including board members, executives, clients, and partners. Serve as a representative of the CEO in interactions with internal and external parties.
  7. Research and Analysis: Conduct research, gather data, and prepare reports, presentations, and briefing materials to support the CEO’s decision-making process. Analyze information and provide insights on key issues, industry trends, and market developments.
  8. Confidentiality and Discretion: Demonstrate the highest level of professionalism, maintaining confidentiality and discretion in handling sensitive information and matters related to the CEO’s office.
  9. Event Coordination: Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of company events, board meetings, and other special gatherings overseen by the CEO.
  10. Travel Coordination: Coordinate travel arrangements, including transportation, accommodations, and itineraries for the CEO’s business trips, ensuring seamless travel experiences.
  11. Strategic Support: Provide strategic input, assist in the implementation of strategic initiatives, and contribute to the CEO’s vision for the organization. Support the CEO in driving organizational alignment and achieving strategic objectives.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Communications, or a related field. Advanced degrees such as an MBA are desirable.
  • Proven experience as an executive assistant, preferably supporting C-suite executives or senior leaders in a corporate environment.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to draft professional correspondence and articulate complex ideas.
  • Proficiency in office productivity tools such as Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and other relevant software applications.
  • Discretion and trustworthiness, with the ability to handle confidential information and delicate situations with the utmost professionalism.
  • Analytical and critical thinking abilities, with the capacity to conduct research, analyze data, and present findings clearly and concisely.
  • High emotional intelligence and the ability to navigate complex interpersonal dynamics with diplomacy and tact.

PLANT TECHNICIAN

OVERALL SUMMARY:

Plant Technician would be required to operate and maintain plant power production at the output designated by management.   To perform operations and maintenance activities on plant within the OEM guidelines and Protocols. To perform emergency procedures in order to protect personnel and equipment in case of damage or failure of safety deficiencies.  To effectively perform plant-planned and corrective maintenance as directed and as needed and to account for all parts and materials, supplies, and fluids used in the performance of that work.

Required Qualifications:

  • UNIVERSITY DEGREE IN ELECTRICAL/MECHANICAL ENGINEERING WITH 2 YEARS RELEVANT EXPERIENCE IN POWER GENERATION.

 OR

  • UNIVERSITY DIPLOMA IN ELECTRICAL/MECHANICAL ENGINEERING WITH 3 YEARS RELEVANT EXPERIENCE IN POWER GENERATION.

                                                                          OR

  • TECHNICIAN CERTIFICATE IN ELECTRICAL/MECHANICAL ENGINEERING WITH AT LEAST 4 YEARS RELEVANT EXPERIENCE IN POWER GENERATION.

        OR

  • BOARD OF INDUSTRIAL APPRENTICESHIP TRAINING IN ELECTRICAL/MECHANICAL ENGINEERING WITH AT LEAST 4 YEARS RELEVANT EXPERIENCE IN POWER GENERATION.
